She applies composite resin material to match the color of your teeth. Dr. Hevrin does bonding mostly to improve yourr appearance, such as repairing chipped or cracked teeth, improving discolored teeth, filling gaps between teeth, changing the shape of teeth.

Minimal to no preparation is needed. Anesthesia is often not required unless bonding is being used to fill a decayed tooth. Dr. Hevrin selects a composite resin color that closely matches the natural color of your teeth. Then she will kind of scuff the tooth before adding a composite bonding material to match your other teeth.

The composite or resin is hardened with a curing light. After hardening, Dr. Hevrin will shape and polish the tooth and send you home with a beautiful smile.
